Each session is created to be a joyful experience for you and your family. We understand that coordinating your photos can feel overwhelming with all of the responsibilities that come with raising children, which is why we prioritize stress-free sessions.
What You Can Expect
Frequently Asked Questions
As former elementary school teachers, there is very little that can scare us! We don’t expect children to “be good” during your session. In fact, a bit of mischief often brings out real smiles and laughter. The key is letting your children be themselves so we can let genuine moments unfold naturally.

What if I have young or energetic kids who may not “pose?”
It’s our goal to give you photos that are authentic to you and your day. While we’ll edit your photos to ensure that you look your best, we don’t believe in changing what makes you, you.

What type of editing do you do?
All of our clients receive a print release with their package, which means that you will be able to take your photos to have them printed and you are also able to share them on social media. You also have the option to order professional-quality prints through our website.

What is a print release?
Living in the Pacific Northwest means embracing the rain! We wholeheartedly encourage dancing in the rain and splashing in puddles—however, if the forecast calls for heavy rain or if you have a baby or prefer a dry setting, we’re flexible. We can start earlier or consider rescheduling; your comfort is our top priority.

What if it rains?
Golden hour—the period just after sunrise or just before sunset—hands down. If you have young children, I understand your reluctance to disturb their sleep schedules, but I promise, the magical quality that will be brought to your photos during this time of day is well worth it.

What’s the best time of day for our session?
With a paid deposit, we’ll hold a preferred date for your session that is 1-2 weeks after your expected due date. Just keep me in the loop when the baby arrives, and if your original date needs to be adjusted, we’re more than happy to do so.
