As a former kindergarten teacher, I bring a playful and engaging approach to our photography sessions. We incorporate a lot of games to keep the atmosphere fun and relaxed, allowing us to capture a mix of candid and posed shots. Letting kids be kids is key to getting those genuine, joyful moments. Where Should We Shoot?

We are lucky to live so close to so many stunning backdrops! In the Olympia area, we have immediate access to a variety of locations that offer us beautiful lighting, especially during golden hour, the hour after sunrise or the hour before the sun dips over the horizon. Depending on your style and vision, we can easily be surrounded by forests, fields, gardens, or surrounded by water. If you have a unique idea for a location, I’d love to hear it!

What Should I Wear?

Dressing your family for a photoshoot can set the tone for the entire session. Start by deciding on the vibe you’re aiming for. For a warm and cozy feel, opt for a palette featuring mustard, brown, rust, cream, burgundy, and taupe. If you prefer a lighter, pastel aesthetic, stick to neutral and light tones like cream, white, beige, gray, muted pinks and purples, coral, rose, and light blues. For a darker and more moody look, incorporate deep, rich colors, but balance them with lighter tones to avoid an overly dark appearance. I will email you a digital gallery of high-resolution images that you will be able to view and download. You can share the link with loved ones and they can view and download images too!
